Who is responsible

The controller of the personal data processed on this site is Rosario Giancarlo Brittannico, a private individual in Italy. For any question or request about your data, write to privacy@compingly.com.

What data is processed

When you visit the site, your IP address and the data of the request (page requested, time, browser and device type) are processed by Cloudflare to deliver the pages and to protect the site from abuse.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, in aggregate: it does not use cookies or local storage and, according to Cloudflare, it does not fingerprint visitors.

The site has no accounts, no forms, no advertising, no cookies and no browser storage.

Legal basis

Our legitimate interest in running, securing and measuring the site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Recipients

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and serves the site and acts as our processor under its Data Processing Addendum. For some data, such as network security data, Cloudflare acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. Cloudflare may use its own sub-processors, as set out in its Data Processing Addendum. We do not share the data with anyone else.

Transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare, Inc. is based in the United States. Transfers rely on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses included in its Data Processing Addendum.

Retention

Cloudflare keeps full Web Analytics data for 7 days, then a sample of about 10%; the aggregate statistics are available for six months. Other request logs are kept by Cloudflare as described in its privacy policy, which does not state a fixed period. We do not keep visitor data ourselves.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15-18 and 21 GDPR). The right to data portability does not apply to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to privacy@compingly.com.

Automated decisions and DPO

There is no automated decision-making or profiling. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed.
